was cn sick list a few days with
pneumonia. She was '19 years of age
and had resided with her family in
the United Staten for some time.
l-for husband predeceased her about
twenty years ago. _
The remains were brought home
for burial, the funeral taking place
on Wednesday. Oct. 18th, from the
home other son, Robert, at Poplar
Grove.
There are left to mourn, a large
family of sons and daughters, name-
ly, Robert on the homestead; Dari-
lel, Albert, Ambrose, Samuel, Wil-.
liarn, James and Frank; Mu. Royi
Murray and Mrs. Fred Murray, all
residing in different parts of the
United States. also three sisters.
Mrs. Wm. McArthur, of Elinrdale;
Mrs. Douglas McDonald, Enmore:
Mrs. Richard Smith, Ellerslis And
two brothers. Mr. Isaac Boyle, of
Ellerslie and Mr. Ambrose Boyle. in
the United Mates, to all of whom

ympathy is extended.
The funeral services were held on
Wednesday afternoon from the
-home of her son, Robert, to the
Presbyterian Church at Freeland,
-Lot ll. Rev. Mr. Robertson, assis-
‘ ted by Rev. Mr, Nicholson. There
were many old friends present. who
_csnie to psy their respects to an
<old neighbour and frienci. There
were many lovely floral tributes.
testifying to the high esteem in
which the Late Mrs. Milligan was
held. Hymns sung were. at the
house: "Jesus is My E1hepherd"; at
the Church, "The Bands of 'rims
Are Sinking,” "There ia no Night in
Heaven." "Abide With Me." Miss
Phillips ss.n¢ very sweetly, “Docs
Jesus Care." At the grave was .sung
"Good Night."
