Baby Goes Rising ' Most mothers know the immense benefit to their children oi fresh air and sunshine. and take their little ones out whenever they can. When buying a new baby carriage choose one oi plain design. It will look smarter, wear better, and be easier to keep clean than a more fancy pattern. See that it is well- sprung and not too heavy; well- balanced for safety and easy to push. In addition to its waterproof hood for rain and rough winds, a sun canopy is a necessity. Baby's carriage needs cleaning frequently. for dust and grime are dangerous and hold all sorts of in- fectlon picked up from the air and the dust of the streets. A pram in constant use in all weathers gets very dirty. Dust and sooty particles settle in every nook and crevice, and the clinging damp leaves a sticky film over it. Where there's dirt there's danger for it needs but a put! of wind to dislodge the dust. to be breathed into baby's delicate lungs. And when. in scrambling about in his pram, his warm hands come in contact with its soiled edges. it is almost inevitable that he should eventually transfer this germ-laden grime to his mouth. To be on the safe side, keep the pram well dusted inside and out, and brush the hood and canopy at frequent intervals. When you get in- doors, wipe it over with a chamoise leather ii wet, finishing with a soft cloth. About once a week go over the inside, including the well, with warm water. Keep the straps and buckles scrupulously clean, for children delight in sucking and chewing them, and will manage to do so when left to themselves for a moment. Air the mattress and pillows fre- quently, and when the covers be- come soiled replace with fresly washed ones. _i.i_____ DAYS 0F EXQUISITE FRAGILI- TY AGAIN’ HERE Ladies’ Full Fashioned Silk Hose. k I 11/ , See the New Georgette Crepe Hose for ladies.
