Grounth nu ' PLAYING IN MONTAGUE The closing exercises oi the prim- ary and intermediate grades of St- Mary’: Convent, Souris, were held on the afternoon of June 24, Mon- signor J.A. Murphy, P.P.. presiding. The pleasing programme of songs, plays and recitations carried out by the various classes was much enjoyed by an appreciative aud- ience of parents and friends. The capable manner in which the pupils acted their various parts showed both talent and careful training. At the close of the programme Monsignor Murphy presented the Grade VIII pupils with their High School entrance certificates and congratulated them and the other pupils on the success of their year's work. After complimenting them on the delightful programme, he wished them a happy vacation sug- gesting ways to make it both en- joyable and profitable.
