McNeill together with all his ‘crop, farm implements, furniture etc. the only things saved being some bed clothes and a part ofa stove. The fire started in the barn while Mr. McNeil was working out in the lleld and was not dis- covered until the flames were coming through the roof.With wonderful rapidity it spread to the dwelling and soon all was laid in ruins. Mr. McNeill who was in Summerside yesterday says that he does not know the origin of the tire but it is just possible that matches may have been dropped by some trampand probably ignited by mice. .
