DON'T FORGET OUR NEXT PARTY--FEB 23 AT THE BARN. 3 ,‘n" "r . .. student Union fees went up fromgflagflr ~What is your opinion? by ~ Maureen Murray lbrwin Banks Greg MacLean--Soph "The increase seems difficult to justify. There will have to be an increase in service as well. I‘d‘ like to see a breakdown for the extra costs." - Darlene Doircn-—Senior "with everything else going up, I have nothing against it. EVerything has to go up with the in- creasing rate of inflation. No one wants to see their money go, but we have to be realistic." ~_Larry Arsenault—-Education "Everything else is going up. It's necessary as 4 students get lots of benefits. An extra $10 wouldn't hurt I compared to other things. g I think students could live with that.". 1‘ Corinne Hardy-éFrosh "They seem to be going a ‘ out of their way to increaSe’ i everything. A lot of stu— dents don't have money as there is not the access to jobs on PEI as there is elsewhere. Why raise every- ' ' thing? No one will come to ,‘ Q university. They will seek é some other kind of training." Dave Newport-—Frosh "It's only $10, that's not excessive compared to It's not a large problem for the majority of students. The costs are a fair size amount right now. $55 is the limit of what they should be." ’ ' Robert O'Hanley—-Junior - "What? And tuition went up too! I won't pay!!! Lynda McInnis--Junior "All fees are going up so student fees have to go up as well." '
