MaoKinnon in his 83rd year at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hempstock. The late Mr, Miacliinnon was born in Georgetown, the son of the late John Macxlnnon and his wile, Jeanette Duff. and spent his life- time in Georgetown until five years ruzo, when with his wife, the for- mer Christina Skinner, also of Georgetown. he moved his only daughter, Catherine, Mrs. Hempetzock. Mrs. iMsdKinnon pre- tit-ceased her husband by years and five months. For ii number of yeam prior in moving to Ottaws. he and his wife spent their winters in Charlotte- town and since taking in residence in the nationls capital he visited Charlottetown and Georgetown each summer where he renewed in host of lifetime friendships. He attended Georgetown High School and was a commercial Coi- lego graduate. For a. number of years he was purser on the S. S. Electra and SB. Enterprise as they plied their routes between Mon- tague. Georgetown, Murray HEl'bo1', and Charlotte- ho caipably tul- Mulg-rave. Plotou town. Afterwards filled the duties of bookkeeper for the Eastern Oanxieriu. st the time one of the largest lobster packing firms in the Mnritimes.
