Tue Hyers Sisrers.—Speaking of a recent performance of the Hyers Sisters Comedy Co., which opens at the Lyceum on Friday next, the Halifax Chronicle says: The Hyers Sisters Comedy Company made their first appearance in the academy of music last night to a fair audience. The piece presented was the ‘* great moral drama, ‘ Out of Bondage, by Rev. Joseph Bradford, D. D., of Boston; a realistic picture of Southern life before and after the war.” There is no plot in the piece, it evidently being designed entirely to give opportunity for the introduction of the solos, chorouses and specialties, some twenty pieces in all being rendered. The singing was good, both im the solos and chorouses, most of it toa marked degree.
