Plans include the grand finale to the “FUN IN THE SUN” promotion, a rugby pub, a couple more Jam nights with ‘Clothing Optional’ and another big concert if we can sign a deal before exams start. Speaking of finals, the last big pub of the year will be April 21. We probably won’t have to advertise it because The Guardian or Patriot will probably do another story on it and, needless to say, blow it out of proportion. If by chance you don’t read about it in the paper, Newfoundland band ‘Great Big Sea’ willbe whooping it up for all you students suffering from exam burn out! Stay tuned on details on how we will make this night special for you the ‘poor’ student. Mark March 31 on your calender as it will be the night we give away a trip for two to ST. PETERSBURG, FLORIDA. We have the following eight qualifiers so far: Lisa Rankin Amanda Campbell Fidel Murphy Glenn Miller Stella Teoli (Go Sens Go!) Chris Matters Lois Hume On March 31st we will draw one more name (you have to be there to win) and the ten lucky qualifiers will go ina hat and we will draw out one name every fifteen minutes until there is one name remaining or the contestants come to an agreement (i.e. buy other person’s ticket). The lucky winner will travel to St. Petersburg on April 30th and return May 7th. Not a bad way to end the year! | xpress march twenty-second 1994 page 20 | CIMN chart Artist Title |.
