Army Officer Spends Leave At, Home In S'side Lieutenant Erwin Thompson, United States Army. is spending his Christmas holidays at his home in Summcrside. Licut. Thompson Ajoin-ed the American Army three and one half years ago. He served for some time on Okinawa. After returning to the U. 5. he was selected as a candidate for the Officers Training School at Fort Riley. Kansas. from winch he graduated on December 15th. being the only Canadian in a class of one hundred and fifty. Lieut.
