Baptists heard today that their
church ln Corlllna had been closed
in an effort to rld that section of the
thousands of infected rats. A few
deaths among the natives recentlv
occurred in the town. The entire
island/ ls greatly concerned over the
outlook. There seems, however, to
be some good done by the plague.
The island is being so thoroly cleans-
ed that it is almost unfamiliar to old
