IIEEIPITIIIIITI IN TAX EXEMPTIIIIIS ` 1 MONTREAL, December 8-A move was today started ‘by the Montreal 'board of trade to secure reciprocity in portations from special taxes between, the various provinces. The Quebec uct exempts from such special tax corporations chartered in any pro- vince which does not so tax corpora-' tions chartered in Quebec without taking out a special license. Boards of trade throughout the Dominion will be asked to urge the various 'leg- islatures to adopt similar leilslatlon. It is thus hoped to free corpnraltions from needless vexatious taxation by the various provinces in which they may have to do business.
