Trainor, at the home of his sister, Mrs, Malschiss Callaghan, Char- lottetown, came as a great shock to his many friends both here, and in Waltharn, Mass. October 21, 1945, marked the end of his sojourn in this life and his passage to eternity. Born at Johnson's River, P. E. I., 29, 1887, he was one of the large family of Mr. and Mrs. P. J1 Trainor. In 1910 he took up resid- lnce in Waltham; Mass, where five years later he married Jessie Mc- Gilvray of Antigonlsh. l-Ie had chosen well as no wife could have been more devoted to her spouse, especially during his many periods of illness. As owner and manager of a large fuel ‘oil establishment in Waltham, his jovial disposition served only to increase his trade and add to his large number of friends. Always a devout Catholic. he was a loyal member of that great or anization, The Holy Name Soc ety. ' A few years ago ill health ob- liged him to sell his business to a new management. In September of last year he suffered a stroke from which he was_never fully to re- cover. A. MacMillen,.deatir claimed him on the above mentioned date. The circumstances of his death are a fitting tribute to his faith. He had just attended Sunday Mass at the Sacred Heart Home, and after returning to the Callaghan residence, he stated that he did not feel ve well, and so retired to bed, He ad no sooner done so when he passed suddenly away.
