Mrs. R. J. Macdonald gave s. clear and itemized record of her work in this department and wished to ex- press her thsnlrs to those who so courteously assisted her at various times. Mrs. Macdonaid completed her two year term in this capacity and vacated the office as required by constitution. A splendid address outlining the work that should be carried on by the C. W. L. was given in Rosary Hall in October by Rt. Rev. Maurice Mac- donald and in November Professor Henry Blanchard gave a most int- eresting and graphic dcscriplion 0f his visit to France and other Euro- pean countries last summer. Musical programs were a pleasing feature of the meetings and social gatheringsj with refreshments and card parties pleasan‘ interludes in the year's work. The new Willis piano purchas- i ed last fall was proving a real bene- ilt and pleasure not only to our sub- division meetings but to those of the Junior Lellue and the Si. Zita Club as well. ' The president spoke ‘briefly -in congratulation of the work done and called upon Rt. Rev. Monsignor Macdonald, the Chaplain. to address the meeting. ‘The Reverend Monsig- nor commended the work done and the methodical yway in which the various reports were presented.
