AMONG the shipments by the Northum-
berland yesterday morning were 16 head
Guernsey cattle en route for the Sher-
brooke P. Q. Exhibition in which they
have been entered. The herd is said to be
the finest lot yet sent out for competition
by Mr. Brow and they will no doubt figure
in the prize list of this exhibition.

lant while playing with other children on

Oilice yesterday afternoon fell over into

panions could do nothing to rescue him
but gave the alarm.Mr. George Sudsbury
an employe in Conn. James A Mc.Neill's
blacksmith shop, arrived on the scene
just in time to save the life of the little
fellow who was all but gone when re-
scued.
