He was hooted and branded as a liar and a traitor. The President made no attempt to stop the use of these epithets. Frequent cries of “turn bim out,” were directed against the Prime Minister, and the greatest uproar pre vailed throughout the sitting. The vole against M. Ferry included the re- | publican uvion, the extreme left and the monarchists. No group appears to be strong enough to insure a compact ministry. All sections are unaaimous in the determination to prosecute the war to a successful issue. The Figaro says M. Ferry has appealed to his iriends to gather to his support. He de- clared he would send 109,000 men to China i’ necessary. Referring to the above, | desire on behalf of the late firm to thank the public for the very liberal patronage bestowed in the past, and to inform them that the good wi'l of the business has been transferred to Mr. John Coombs, Queen Street.
