For about ten years he has crisis crossed the continent speaking at over 600 universi- ties and colleges. He was a special consultant on the “tv program ‘‘Unsolved Mysteries’’ fora UFO epi- _sode. He was technical advisor for the 1979 motion picture **UFO’s are Real.’” He has appeared on talk “shows and new shows like ‘‘Nightline.’’ Thisis buta small summary of his accomplishments. On Feb.6 Stanton gave tow lectures at the Vet College : n lecture theatre A. I attended the evening lecture ‘where I found that there were more people than there “were chairs available. There must have been about 80 ‘people there. Stanton opened his lecture with some ‘humour, ‘‘Mary had a little lamb its fleece as white as “snow and everywhere that Mary went, she saw a FO.’’ Stanton went on to say that ‘‘Some UFO’s 2 re aliens. Most are not. Iam only concerned with ‘the second part.’’ Stanton acknowledged that there ‘are plenty of sceptics but added, ‘‘5% of Americans ‘don’t even believe that we’ve gone to the moon. Gallup poles indicate that the majority of people seem to believe in UFO’s. Stanton Said, ‘* Despite what some would expect, the greater the education a person has, the more likely they will believe in UFO’s’’. Fear of the ridicule prevents many people from re- porting UFO’s sightings. ve nton believes that both the american governments have the knowledge about UFO’s which they will not releases to the public. The U.S. used the excuse of ‘' ossible threat to security’’ fornotreleasing UFO formation. Stanton call these information coverups ‘*Cosmic Watergate’’. The FBI has UFO files via he Freedom to Information Act. Even this Act has - ailed. Eventually the FBI did release one or two of heir hundreds of files. Yet each file had 74% or more ¢ third was dying when the military arrived. The liens were white, with large black eyes, ears, nose | itary covered everything up and the only reason the tory came out is because a CIVILIAN saw the aliens 1X-P RESS February 13, 1992 before the military arrived. Later a mortician and Gerald Anderson testified that they had seen and touched the aliens. Stanton showed us many interest- ing photos and slides of UFO’s and evena drawing of aliens.
