     because as we all know, there is no such thing! 
     
     Students please take notice that several 
     
    

    
     jobs are no open in the Student Union for the 
     
    
   
   
    
     year ’79—’80. 
     
    
   
   
    
     It’s very inportant that these 
     
    
   
   
    
     jobs be filled before the summer months so work 
     
     can begin early and things will start very 
     
    
   
   
    
     quickly in the fall.

     involved, please ask someone who knows.

     I am presently a 
     
     resident of Marian Hall 
     
     and due to the “act of 
     
     God" we were without power 
     
     from Sunday afternoon until 
     
     2 a.m. Tuesday morning. 
     
    

    
     It was unique.Sunday 
     
     evening because of the 
     
     absence of noise from 
     
     stereos, radios and tele— 
     
     visions. Everyone just 
     
     sat around and shot the 
     
     breeze; who cared, the 
     
     power would be back on 
     
     Monday morning. Well, it 
     
     wasn't, and rumor hath it 
     
     that maintenance "couldn't 
     
     promise electricity but 
     
     some sort of lighting 
     
     would be provided". This 
     
     statement was made after 
     
     a requisition for candles 
     
     was submitted and denied. 
     
    

    
     Well, at seven o'clock 
     
     anday night a generator 
     
     was hooked up to Bernadine 
     
     Hall to provide some 
     
    
   
   
    
     written article. 
     
    
   
   
    
     light for the girls'. 
     
     residence. But this was 
     
     only to light the halls, 
     
     and again Marian Hall was 
     
     forgotten about. 
     
    

    
     What's done is done and 
     
     nothing can be done to turn 
     
     badt time. 
     
    

    
     It was only my wish to 
     
     let the other students, 
     
     administration and pdolic 
     
     1mm how we, the residents 
     
     of Marian Hall, feel about 
     
     the treatment we continually 
     
     receive, even though we pay 
     
     the same fees as everyone 
     
     else who stays in residence.
