The entire Island and surround- ing coastal waters, termed as "probable areas" by the Airforce, have been thoroughly searched without finding a trace of the light, yellow, single engine plane which disappeared on "local fly- ing" over the Island while practic- ing aerobatics and simulated forc- ed landing exercises. Yesterday's search was to have included sections of New Bruns- wick, G-aspe. Northumbe land strait, and the Gulf of St. Lawren- ce which as yet have not been searched, and which were termed "possible areas" over which the plane could have flown on the gas supply it was hnown to have car- ried. . S-L Wickcii said yesterday that the Airforce is grateful for all pos-' sihle clues it has received from the civilian population in the Mari- times, which came as the result of an appeal from the Airiorce for information which might be help- ful in the search. . Information of this kind has very often led to the discovery of a missing plane.
