Saint Mary’s and University of Moncton will meet in the other semi- final with the two winners advancing to the final on Sunday. Defending league champion UNB beat Saint Mary’s 5-1 on Saturday to _finish in first place.. Saturday’s game at UPEI’s MacA- dam Field was a.tight struggle throughout. UPEI had the clear ad- vantage in play in the first half, but was unable to score. Mount Allison had a few scoring opportunities but did not threaten for most of the half. The second half was much more closely contested, but again UPEI had the better quality chances, just failing to side. Both goaltenders were sharp as they had to make quality ’ saves. UPEI’s Sandy Jardine came up ote when a Mount Allison forward found herself in alone only to see Jar- dine make a great pad save.
