(Liptors. lie-captors. or otherwise, or il any of such ()lii- cers and Crew. to take or eause or procure to be taken any step or proceeding. or do or cause or procure to he done any thing that may he nt‘Ct‘SSJ'J‘Y or proper to be taken or done for any purpose in any Court or elsewhere, in case of the absence or dclhltlt ol' the Ship‘s Agent: or (3) alfeet. anv right or power of Control or other authority, that Her Majesty has or may exercise in any prize, Cause or other proceeding. 24. Nothing in this Act shall invalidate an appointment of an Agent made before the commencement of this Act under the Navy Prize Agents Act. 1803; but eVery Agent so appointed shall, from the commencement of this Act, be subject to this Act as Who Were appointed under it. 25.
