It had been in this church that Mr. Brown attended Sunday school and had been the church of his family for some generations. During the summer the steeple of the church had been removed and is square tower completed in its place. An extensive project was under- taken and the church building and Sunday school hall was raised four feet. A basement was then exca- vated and a concrete foundation placed under the entire building and a concrete floor laid. The building was painted and the grounds graded. In the spring the grounds will be seeded and in the near future it. is hoped to finish the down- stairs hall for the general use of the congregation. The building, without the hall. was buidt. in 1888 with the hall be- of the century. At that time the Presbyterians in Kensington were served by the Malpeque minister. The meeting commenced at 6:45 p.m. and the games committee which consists of Carol Ann Ho- gan, Catherine Campbell. Patsy Shaw and Elizabeth Anderson, had a. grand evening of entertainment lined up and everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Their new Leader. Mrs. W.
