ISLAND TEL - is “first past the post” among our potential corporate supporters. We thank Island Tel for donating and we don't mind if you say thank you too, next year is not that far away! The closing of the Bird’s Eye Nature Store was a great loss to naturalists on the Island but owner Tanya Craig’s very generous donation of nature books, shelving displays, feeders and supplies, and office materials gave us a great start! EAGLE DIETS : Rudy Stocek, a life member of the Society and a teacher at the Maritime Forest Ranger School is interested in obtaining winter feeding observations on Bald Eagles. These observations must be recorded between October and March for any year. All he needs are the date, the location, age of the bird (adult or immature), and food item. If you have other notable remarks, please include them. Send the observations to Rudy Stocek, Maritime Forest Ranger School, 1350 Regent Street, Fredericton, NB E3C 2G6 or fax to 506-458—0652. ll
