The Murray Harbor train arrived here on time. The steamer Stigstag ol the Black Diamond Line is undergoing exten- sive repairs to lier machinery in this E port. Bruce Stewart & Co, Ltd, are doing the work. They have two shifts-one night and one day-cm- ploycd, each consisting oi about twelve men. The work will hardly be completed before Saturday. The Stistng was pretty badly shaken up on her recent trip from Montreal and is considerably damaged inside. Rev. H. E. Thomas, pastor of the First Methodist Church, City, leaves this morning for St. John and from there” he will proceed to a sanitarium for treatment. Mr. Thomas has not regained his strength as quickly as was to hc desired and it is hoped tliat in this move he is adopting a I i plan whereby he may he rapidly rcs-l tored to his usual health and vigor.
