Hammond MacLen-nan. who pass- ed away in the King's County Hospital Easter Monday morn- ing. was held from St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Montague, yesterday afternoon. The service was conducted by Rev. F. N. Young assisted by Dr. A. D. MacKenzic. Rev. Mr. Young spoke words of comfort to the bereaved fa-mily, basing his remarks on John 2113-4. The hymns sung were "Rock of Ages" and "Abide Witih Me." A d-uet "The Sun of My Soul", was rendered by Messrs. John Bears and Willard Bruce. The pall- bearers werc: Marshall Reynolds. James Stewart. His many friends in Georgetown will learn with regret of the sud- den passing in Cutler, Maine, of Clarence D. Wallace. Quite a num- ber of years ago Mr. Wallace was employed at Georgetown in the lobster packing business of Easton and Cogswell. and since then he has regularly visited here. where he was well and favorably known. In Cutler he operated a lobster packing business and was I buyer of various kinds of fish. chief of which were sardines. Mr. Wallace was active in a variety of business ventures in the 'U.8.A.. being high- lv successful in any field which claimed his interests.
