Concert is becoming an attraction, the new building last night being well filled with a very appreciative audience. This concert ‘was not so good as the one pre- ceeding it by the same school, owing to its being less musical—there being toe much reading. The singing was excellent. The ** cute” little Misses Hendry and Carman will no doubt be welcomed again, as also the happy little face of Hetty Heartz. Little John Walker’s ‘‘naive” way of getting through his recitation was well applauded, as it deserved. As for the singing of the older members of the school, we can hardly accord too much praise. We learn the proceeds of this meet- ing goes to provide warm clothing for some cf the poorer children of the school. The sum realized was ever $40. Notice to Mariners.
