More changes}. You don't go to this school on a bus, you have to drag yourself to class; and you dOn't have class 8:00 to 3:00 Monday to Friday. Each person's schedule is different. YOu can sche— dule earlv classes to get it over with— but you may find you don't get much out of an 8:30 class._ If .ybu like to sleep in, you, can schedule your classes to start at 11:30, or lat— er. Some people manage to have all their classes »either on Monday, Wednes— day, and Friday, or on Tuesday and Thursday. Most people have about 3 hours of classes per day. Initially you may,be in classes where you don't know anyone (that's new to people from K-town where you usually know ever bod in egg your classes.) Through time, friendliness overcomes shyness, and you begin to know the person beside you, the one in front of‘ you, the 2 clowns-behind Attendance is not com- pulsary. Inra large class, profs don't know if you never go! They ‘don't call the roll; they don't send you to the‘off~ ice if you're late. (You can even chew gum in cla— ssil) A prof won't call your mommy if you fail to hand in an assignment. The responsibilities of going to class and of 'studying are yours alone. There's nobody to nag you. Most'people make a real effort to go to class and to keep up with their work. We are paying money to go to university, not because we haVe to go, but because we want to go..
