Though he had long since passed the
allotted span cf lite universal regret -was
felt and expressed on the announcement
yesterday afternoon that Archibald
Kennedy had passed away' H0111 1if°'S
activities. The sad event was not alto-
gether unexpected as it had been known
it-r_ some days that he was seriously
ill.

in Scotland and came with her father, a
shipbuilder. to Cape Traverse. After
sharing his joys and sorrows for many
