High- light of the meeting was the cut- ting of the birthday cake by Mrs. Bessie Black, 91 years old. guest of the Lodge. Meets The second Lenten conference of the Western Presbytery of Young Peoples Unions was held in the Montrose United Church on Friday, March 29th, with after- noon and evening sessions. Theme of the conference was "Focus on l-iwentisls in the Life of Paul." The afternoon session opened with worshi service by Elms- dale Y. P. . with hymn "The church's One Foundation" Scrip- iuro reading was the 17th chapter of Acts. Prsycr was offered by Rev. N. Rf Green.
