Mr. I-1uest~ia.in an interview, informed your correspondent that the properties were in good condition, and that the prospects were excellent fora heavy saason‘s work next season, At the 'quarries a new and very superior reef of grindstone has been opened up and will be uncovered, ready for work as sonii as the season opens up next spring. Mr. Huestis states that this newreef will afford auflzlclent stone out of the part already opened up, to keep the mills in constant operation alltholseason, and this will make the output of stone forthe season the largest in the history of the quarries which is saying much, as they have been in continuous operation since 1798. The plant is now in better condition for work than ever before in its history. It is extensively fitted up with the most inoderngrindstono machinery, and is one of thc largest and best equipped grlndstone works in America.
