details concemina the deaths of Me.-
. tron Jaggard and _Nursing Sister
Munru at Lemnos have been furnish-
ed by the Chief Matron. Miss Macdon-
ald, formerly of Montreal. Mrs. Jpg.
gard, whose home was at Wolfvllle,
N. s., eller holding important' sp.
pointments in the United States. mar-
ried Herbert Jaggard. B railroad Pros-
ident. Although thus an alien-by mar-
riage, she voluntesred her services at
the outbreak of the war, and was sent
to Shomcliffe, leaving there for the
Dardanellea on August 1, with No. 3
the staff threw a specially heavy hur-
den upon her, resulting in a physical
breakdown, followed by her death on
September 25th. Mrs. Jaggard was a
cousin of Sir Robert'Borden.
Nursing Slater Mary Frances Mun-
Roucn and Sllorncliile, and then sail-
erl with No. 3 Stationary Hospital.
Sllc fell ii victim to dysentry on Se
nlilltary honors. alld was attended hy
the staffs of No. 1 and No. 3 Station-
