ADDOIiimately 70 donors report- ed at the first of a series of Red cross Blood Donor Clinics held in Borden school last. night which was that 30 short at the town's ob- jective of mo donors. The Clinic was arranged by the Borden Women's Institute, the members of which solicited the donors and were on hand to help the Mobile Team from Halifax, with the many jobs to be done at a Clinic of this kind. These ladies also pro- vided delicious refreshments for the donors. There were donors from the following districts in addition to those from Borden itself: Bedeque. Albany, Carleton siding. Cape Traverse, Summerside, Peake's Station. Portage. Tryon. 'ChBI- lottetown, and Carleton. Five Mur- ray brothers from Bedeque com- posed one or the carloads of donors who arrived at the Clinic. one of these men was a. donor at Borden's first Clinic held a year ago and this time came back with four of his brothers. If all donors follow- ed the example set by Mr. Murray, Prince Edward Island would have no difficulty in securing its object- ive of 1700 donors for this Clinic. It is hoped that the deficit of 30 donors at Borden last night will be made up at the Clinics to be v'r-it-: GUARDIAN.
