David DeMules of the Vermont Nature Conservancy will be the guest speaker. A good chance to swap stories with members who haven't seen each other since May. Sometime during the first two weeks of October, Mr. DeMules will also give a workshop in conjunction with the Island Nature Trust on Natural Area Protection. DECEMBER 6: The December meeting of the NHS will give us a chance to see one or two (depending on time) of the fine natural history videos that have recently been done. We're hoping to have one on South Moresby. As usual, the meeting begins at 8:00 p.m. at the Farm Centre. JANUARY 3: The January meeting will bring in a new executive, so make the extra effort to be there. Professor Earl Wonnacott of U.P.E.I. will be speaking on astronomy.
