Kitiep sy Licatyinc.—The Summere side correspondent of the Guardian says: A heavy lightning storm passed over Cape Traverse and vicinity Saturday afternoon. At Augustine Cove, two horses owned by Mr. William Crockett, of Cape Traverse, were killed while stand- ing in Mr Harry Clark’s blacksmith shop. Mr. Crockett and Mr. Clark had afew minutes previously gone into the latter’s house to tea, and when they re- turned tothe shop they found the two horses dead. The lighting had entered by the door which was open and passed through the opposite wall. The building was but slightly damaged, Mr Crockett’s loss is a heavy one, the borses being valu- able ones.
