     "Your Starter For.." is 
     
     the minute and a half in—

     two record set. It is 
     
     a lively tune and from its 
     
     title you'd expect the 
     
     rest of the album to be 
     
     the same. Not so. The ma- 
     
     terterial is almost orches— 
     
     tra or brass section ‘ 
     
     cluttering up the songs, 
     
     over—production, and too 
     
     many long, drawn—out 
     
     songs. The worst of— 
     
     fender on the album is 
     
     the last cut, a six and 
     
     a half minute disco 
     
     number called "Bite 
     
     Your Lip". For two 
     
     minutes John sings a 
     
     couple of verses and for 
     
     the remaining four 
     
    

    
     ' minutes some choir

     Canadian band getting the 
     
     "big push" from their 
     
     record company. At 
     
     least Quality has some— 
     
     thing to push with Lynx. 
     
     They have their own 
     
     brand of rock 'n roll 
     
     which is pleasing, but 
     
     excell in their softer 
     
     numbers such as "Visions" 
     
     and "Holding On". Both 
     
     songs gently evolve into 
     
    

    
     tough rockers, then slide 
     
     back to their original 
     
     level of sound. "Lucifer' 
     
     is the best of the rock'n 
     
     roll numbers. "Missing 
     
     Lynx" is a solid debut 
     
     album.
