Again we celebrated and again we blew it as Pat MacSweeny ran a reverse for 80 yards and for the Mulligan Bowl. ‘ I - The Associated Press voted both teams number one and being good sports Mean Machine shared first prize with the'Freshman. Why shouldn't they be good sports they beat a better team. In hockey, the Sophomore Selects went undefeated as they romped over their opponents in the first_week of action. The first game saw them defeat the Freshman easily and even gave the Freshman their goalie and still beat them. In their secondfgame the Selects pounded Mean Machine 5+3. .Some of the stars for the Selects were Steven "Macho Man" Bishop and Kenny "Trampoline" Baker. Other undefeated teams in the IHL are Juniors and Marian. A brief review looks like a well balanced league with the Selects lfinishing on top.‘ ' L V4 A .L-.-.__‘-._.r._ ..---~‘" .._._ 1...-.-
