Dr. Moore. director of cattle breeding for New Brunswic and manager of the artificial insemination unit at Frederic ton. N.B.. briefly outlined the work done by A1 for the Island. Dr. Kelly. director of AI for the province and of veterinary services for P.E.I.. congratu- lated the club for such a large turnout and for the. record of the unit for the year. He also answered many questions for the breeders and discussed some of their problems. This program is designed to provide island dairy farmers with the Opportunity to acquire high quality registered of pure bred grade Holstein or Ayrshire bred heifers, to increase and to prove size and quality of their dairy herds. He ex- plained how these heifers could he purchased. and the rules and regulations or conditions on which these animals can he acquired.
