The annual school meeting of the whim Road School district was held last Tuesday evening. Mr. Joiin Campbell, secretary. was pre- sent. and also the trustees Mrs. M.J. Ottawa. visited George- town early last week in connection with Dominion Government build- ings in the towns and their val- uation, for grants punaoses from the Dominion Government, in lieu of taxation on Government build- ings in incorporated towns The bridge and building crew or the Canadian National Railways arrived in Georgetown a few days ago and havirstarted construction on a building on railway proper- ty. This building will house rail- way trainmen on the Georgetown run, who do not reside in the town. It is understood that the building will be similar to oni- constructed in Soiiris and will contain bedrooms. living room, kitchen and bathroom.
