A. MacPhee presiding. Mr. Wedge reported that there had been quite a lot of juvenile de- linquency during the but few weeks and three boys had been apprehended and taken before Magistrate Strong in the Juvenile Court. Two had been sent to, St. Patrick's Home, Halifax and the other to a foster home in the country. Now that these boys had been sent away the juvenile sit- uation was much better. There had been some truancy but the matter was now well in hand. An appeal for clothing was made for children who are unable to ut- tend school on account of insuffi- cient clothing. Fitting reference was. made to the death nf Judge lnmau. Judge of the Juvenile Cnurl. for many years and of his uzitirlng work in the serious mat- lnr of juvenile crime. The secre- tary was asked to send a letter expressing sympathy from thi? Board to Mrs. Inman and he!‘ family. Regret was expresed at the departure of Rev. Fr. Murray from St. Pauls Parish as his work among the juveniles was well known. A letter of appreciation was asked to be sent to Rev.- Father Murray.-—S.
