      have
      to
      miss
      or
      missed
      the
      immunization,
      then
     
     
      you
      should
      contact
      the
      Medical
      Centre
      on
      campus
      at

      On
      Prince
      Edward
      Island,
      there
      have
      been
      close
      to
      15
     
     
      cases
      reported
      of
      this
      disease.
      The
      Department
      of
     
     
      Health
      and
      Services
      says
      that
      immunization
      is
      not
     
     
      generally
      recommended,
      but
      since
      there
      has
      been
      an
     
     
      increase
      in
      the
      number
      of
      cases,
      vaccinations
      have
     
     
      been
      given
      to
      junior
      and
      senior
      high
      students
      and
      will
     
     
      be
      given
      to
      university
      students,
      pre-schoolers,
      grade
     
     
      school
      children,
      and
      anybody
      else
      who
      would
      like
      to
     
     
      be
      vaccinated.
     
    
   
   
    
     
      When
      you
      are
      vaccinated,
      a
      swelling
      will
      develop
      on
     
     
      your
      arm
      which
      received
      the
      shot,
      and
      you
      may
      feel
     
     
      slightly
      feverish
      afterwards.
     
    
   
   
    
     
      Meningitis
      is
      not
      greatly
      spread
      around,
      but
      to
      de-
     
     
      crease
      the
      severity
      of
      this
      disease,
      you
      should
      not
     
     
      share
      any
      food,
      drinks
      orcigarettes.
      Dr.
      Lamont
     
     
      Sweet
      suggested
      that
      face
      to
      face
      contact
      should
      be
     
     
      seldom
      for
      the
      next
      few

      symptoms

      meningitis
      such
      as
     
     
      skin
      rash,
      stiff
      neck,
      the
      flu
      or
      bad
      headache,
      please
     
     
      do
      not
      hesitate
