Three days ago the House oi Assem-
bly adopted s. resolution making thc
duty on Irish potatoes operative for

months. It had been the custom _to
permit these potatoes free from Ca-
ine... in Ccamer and November.
The change is for the protection
of the Bermuda. farmer, _who it is
