Mir. McDonald had a few days previous to his death contracted a cold which soon developed into pneu- monia and meningitis, and although ii: was known that his case was ser- ious, yet death came with startling suddenness_ The late Mr. McDonald was a man oi estimabla character, one whose kind and inodensive nature won him many friends. He leaves to mourn a widow ‘and a. family oi three som, and two daughters. Two of his gong are at present living abroad. The eldest, John, is a clerk in a Bank at Campbellton, N. B., and Hugh is in Western Canada. The oth- er members of the family are living at home. The funeral took place on February the 3rd from his home, thence to Canoe Cove Cemetery.
