The 'Scout Commissioner, Mr. Gordon 'Kerr of Aiberton was the i"!!! speaker. He showed two Scout films, one entitled “Men of To- morrow", showing the manifold activities of Boy Scouts in Great Britain in the Second World War, and the second picture was “Com- punions", showing the joys and pleasures of the Boy Scout train- ing in camp, on hikes, etc. After the films, Mr. Kerr met the group committee. The chair- man, Mr. Peter Pete presided. The assistant Scoutmaster, D o u gla s Hardy, gave a splendid report of the Boy Scout Troop which has an enrollment of 21 Scouts. Re- ceipts amounted to $248.00 and ex- penditurcs to $231.00, The Apple Day receipts were splendid and $95.00 was realized. Three 0'Leary Scouts attended the Jamboree in Ottawa, Peter Pate, Arthur Seaman and William Matheson. Mr. Douglas Hardy also attended as one of the Leaders of the P. E. I. contingent. Mr. Emmerson Smallmun, Cub- tnastcr, also gave a finc- report, A hearty vote of appreciation for their fine services for Scouting was extended to Scoutmastcr John Matthews and assistant, Douglas Hardy. and to Cubmaster Emmer- son Smaliman and assistant W. Dennis. For the next year Mr. Douglas Hardy will be Scoufmnster and lMr. John Matthews, assistant. Mr. E. W, Turner will interview the O'Leary Legion to see if they will sponsor scouting in O'Lear_v.
