E. 1., sixty six milling business for several yeArS- An amateur interest in photography led the young man to establish a business of his own which came to include magazines and novel- ties along with the photographic side. He married Augusta, daughter of the late E. B. Muttart, M. D, (or several years M. P. for King's County. Mr. Acorn was a. public spirited 1. citizen. He occupied various pos-v itions of trust in thc church of his choice and in the community. He was Mayor of Souris at the time of hisdeath. Ha was a prominent member of the Masonic Lodge. Possessed of an exceptional voice, he led the choir of the new Meth- odlt Church for many years and was choir-master of the United Church from the time of union. He is survived by his wife, and two brothers, Herbert H., M. I... A. Souris and Chester of Charlotc- town. That he was highly respected and will be widely missed was shown by the exceptionally large attendance at the funeral on Nov 15th. Services at. the home and in St. James United Church were conducted by his minister, Rev. J. G. Hockin. Interment was in years ago, the son of Chas. Acorn . and his wife Caroline Sabine.
