the size of an ordinary turkey,'and as far
ahead of the ordinary mongrel cliicken,as
a Dunk River trout is ahead of a Summer-
side smelt.
THE GUARDIAN regrets to report the
death of Mr. Win: Lefurgey,
son of Mr. W. T. Lefurgey of St.
Eleanor`s,which occurred yesterday morn-
ing after a prolonged illness. He had
resided for some time in Boston and ow-
ing to ill health came homesome months
iago, but he gradually grew weaker until
the end came. He was 22 years of age
and wasa young man of exemplory
character. His sorrowing parents,
brothers and sisters have the symathpy of
all who knew him in their hour of

Tun sudden death of Mr. Geo. Muttart
was a painful surprise to our citizens yes'
terday. Mr.Muttart got up out of bed as
usual,shortly before eight o`clock yesterday
morning and was in apparent good health
until after he had come down stairs,
where while lacing his boots he complain-
ed of a pain iii his head, and then laid
down. A doctor was summoned but Mr.
Muttart gradually sank into unconscious-
ness and his case pronounced as hemmor-
. hage of the brain. After examination his
physician said that there was no hope of
recove`ry,and about noondeath came. De-
ceased was largely known through the
province having at one time been the
owner and trainer of: speedy trotting
horses, and during the last few years he
travelled through the provinces with the
renowned Merry-Go-Round. Deceased
has been for several years a town coun-
cillor; and _was afquiet unasuming citi-
zen, honorable in his dealings and respect-
ed by all who knew him. He leaves a wife
and nine children. Two married daugh-
ters in the United States. To the be-
reaved Tan GUARDIAN extends its deepest
