MacLEAN On Thursday morning. Sept. ma, 1957, the Angel of Death claimed for its own, the oldest resident of Milo. in the person of John D. MacLean. The late Mr. MacLean was in his ninety-second year. and was In good health until June Nth when he fell and suffered a bro- ken hip. Born in Hampton. Dec. 5th. 1865, he was the last member of the family of Duncan and Mary (Campbell) MacLean. As a small boy. he moved with his parents to Milo. where he re- sided the remainder of his life. lie was known as a successful farmer and saw-mill operator. His carpentry 'works may be seen in many of the houses, barns. churches and schools in Milo and surrounding districts. He was married to the for- predecessed him thirteen years I! o.
