Annual Meeting illlierton 0. W. L. -The Annual Meeting of the Alberton subdivision of the C. W. League was held at the home of Mrs. B. R. Burke on May 'lt.h with an attendance of eighteen mem- bers. Mrs. A. D. 0Brlen occupied the chair. Meeting opened with pray- er. This was followed by the read- ing 0! the minutes of the tlast monthly meeting also the minutes of the Isst Annual Meeting. In her address. the retiring President. Mrs. A, D. O'Brien re- viewed the activities of the past year, she thanked the members for their generous co-operation which lied made possible the success of all undertakings. 4 Annual Report The following annual report was submitted by the secretary, Mrs. Michael Ahearn. During the past year eight monthly meetings were held, with an average at- tendance of about fifteen mem- bers. There were forty three paid-up members. All National and Diocesan taxes have been paid. Publicity: All monthly meet- ings of the C. W, L. were report- ed to the press. Social service: Members lime visited the sick in homes and in the hospital.
