' Many of our teachers deplore the lack of sympathy and co-operation on tliel part of the parents. These do not visit the schools or interest them- selves in the studies of their chil- dren, For the most. part tho fault lies at the teacher-'s door. We would suggest a mothers’ meeting once each month. The teacher might invite the mothers through the children, or bet- ter still, personally when possible. If the mothers become really interested, then the face of conditions will un- dergo ii rapid change for tlie better. TRUSTEES. Live, earnest teachers can do much operation of the Trustees. Let them persevere in their laudable efforts in this direction. and the non-observance of Section 69 of the School Act will be a thing of the past.
