November 5th with twelve unions represented. The president. Evelyn Underhay presided. The afternoon session opened with a very impressive worship service conducted by Georgetown .P.U.. who chose for their theme "Faith". Sally Johnston presided and the Scripture Lesson. taken from Hebicws 11. was iced by Gordon Bavbineau. followed by a commentary on "Faith" by Janie Llewellyn. after which Annamsir led in prayer. The service was brought to 1 close by singing the: old fa-miller hymn. "Jesus Keep Me Near the Cross", iollowed by the Benediction. Following the worship service. an address of welcome was given by Christine Proude of York Y.P. U. and was responded to by Rev. Howard Christie of Hunter River. The business period then fol- lowed. and in the absence of the secretary. Parker Jewell. Jenn M.acKenzie of Velleyiieid Y. P. U. was a. pointed acting secretary.
