Station Summerside took place 'on Mon. day afternoon. it is equipped with swings, slides and teeters and a special fenced-in section for small children. Three supervisor! will be on duty there all day and they are provided by the Women's Auxiliary. Two of them will took a-'ter th-2 little ones and one will supervise the activities of the older children. On opening day ice cream and balloons were provided for all me children by the Women's Auxil- iary. No time was lost by the youngsters in making full use of the playground equipment that was provided for them. Boal Races -The boat races at Alberton South on Wednesday afternoon were an event of interest to many people but high winds and intermittent showers cut attend- ance to about 500 spectators. During the afternoon a number of people enjoyed boat rides and there was a refreshment booth on the wharf with.Mrs, Don Gavin in charge.
