WHEREAS the Write for the periodical Election of one Member for each of the Electoral Districts of this Island, to serve in the Legislative Council, were returnable on the TWENTY-FIRST day of JANUARY last; and the Writs for the Election of Members to serve in the House of Assembly for the several Electoral Districts, and Towns, and Royalties of this Island, are returnable on WEDNESDAY, the TWENTIETH day of Macon, instant: I have thought fit, by and with the advice of Her Majesty’s Executive Council, to issue this, my Proclamation, and give notice, that I have appointed THURSDAY, the EIGHTEEN'I‘H day of APRIL next, for the meeting of the General Assembly of this Island FOR THE DESPATCH OF BUSINESS- And I do hereby require the Members of the said Legisla- tive Council and Assembly to attend in General Assembly, on the said EIGHTEENTH day of APRIL next, whereof they, and all others concerned, are desired to take notice and govern themselves accordingly.
